The easiest way of opening an account would be to contact the nearest branch of Bank of India in UK or NRI Help Desk who would gladly assist in fulfilling the required formalities and opening an account. If Bank of India branch is away, and you cannot visit our branch then you may send the completed application form to our NRI Help Desk after your signature is duly verified in the application form and following documents duly attested by Indian High Commission:-

i) Two recent passport-size photographs of each of the depositors (duly signed by the depositor(s) on the back of each of the photographs).

ii) Passport(s) of each of the depositor(s).

iii) Proof of addresses in U.K. of the depositor(s) viz. Utility bill, Bank statement, Council Tax Demand Notice, which should not be more than 3 months old.

iv)The cheque for the amount to be remitted and made payable to Bank of India A/C (Depositor’s name(s).
